Great knife for the money.

Great brush craft knife. The steel is 65Mn so it spring steel. Not the kind of steel that you can ignore. You need to keep it oiled or it will rust but tough as the come. Take a leather strop to it and you can make it mighty sharp. Nice G10 handles, sheath and ferro rod too.

If it ain't a Schrade, it ain't a blade.

I've had very good luck with Schrade knives and tools. This is a really good fixed blade. The PVC Kydex sheath is tight, but not too tight. Knife came sharp out of the box and is very comfortable in the hand. I plan on using the knife in my sling pack as a backup to the one I carry in the pocket. G10 handles make this a good grip, but I suggest you always use cut prevention gloves, level 5. This will make a good spare brush craft knife. The 8Cr13MoV stainless Chinesium steel is average steel, but you get what you pay for. It's decent steel for the money and will hold an edge for a moderately good time. So if you want a good, cheap knife you won't worry too much about, buy it.
