The Garmin G6 works as advertised
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this product because my Callaway microPro no longer supported course updates and my home course had just gone through a major redesign. After considerable research, I determined that the G6 seemed to be the best buy.
In general, I haven't been disappointed. It's fairly easy to use and is somewhat straightforward and the yardages seem to be "right-on"! It does have an irritating anomaly where it seems to occasionally get lost and frequently the only way I've found to get it back on track is to go to the main menu. In all of the cases, I've been able to get it back on track with just a slight interruption to my round of golf. I just downloaded an update to the the firmware so, hopefully, this will be fixed.
The most irritating problem I have found is that my home course "flipped" the nines, i.e., the front nine became the back nine and vice versa, but Garmin doesn't have that in their database. They have all of the hole updates and yardages but on the wrong nine holes. It's not impossible to use, just troublesome! I have to track hole 10 as hole 1 and, so on. Of course, this isn't a problem with the G6 but Garmin's database! I hope to get a database update soon to correct the problem.
It's been great on all other courses that I've played and, in general, I'm quite satisfied with the product itself!

Moto 360 2nd Generaton Charging Dock
Works much better than the charging dock that came with the watch. Highly recommend it!

Parallel Study Bible
2 of 2 found this helpful This is an excellent Bible. The parallel versions make comparison studying much easier. The only negatives are 1) the size and weight and 2) the comments cloumn is pretty brief. The two translations (NKJV, NCV) and the transliteration (The Message) are excellent modern english versions.
