Great machine. Well worth twice it's price.
My experience with today's usual AMFM portable has been dismal.. They gorge on batteries and can.t find the signal from the transmitter that's ten miles away. This one's great. Battery life marvelous with the option of rechargeable. I live in the 'farlands,' 200 miles from a large city. This portable finds stations, AM and FM that I didn't know were out there. This is the best portable I've had since my ancient Radio Shack finally bit the dust. Sound quality not the best, but more than adequate for a portable. Best I've found in a bunch of years.. . .

I suspect Ebay is not aware of their importance to folks like me. I'm old,
ancient, in my nineties. When young living in the boonies, the farlands, we had Sears and Wards to supply essentials not available locally. And the catalogs were recycled as toilet tissue in the little house out back. Things change. Sears and Wards went away. Times were tough. At last Ebay showed up. I stll live in the farlands because I like it here, two hundred miles from large city. Now I promptly get non local essentials at more than acceptable prices from Ebay. We appreciate and like you..
