Fair performance, especially for the price, but with some quirks
The Rider 100 is a very low cost-of-entry GPS device for tracking your rides, which is nice. On the road, it is relatively accurate and logs data reliably.
Offroad, such as on a bike path, mountain bike trail, or even some off-the-beaten-path gravel roads, the Bryton really stutters. It was more than 4mph off the pace of my riding partner's Garmin. Additionally, the UI takes some getting used to -- while the Bryton has automatic start and stop, it does not automatically resume after a pause, a hard lesson to learn when your Strava segments disappear in to the nether for the second half of your ride!
You get what you pay for with the Bryton. It has the basic functionality you need, connects to your computer without any issues, but the reliability of the speed readout is dubious without the separate speed sensor and the UI could use a little more thought. If all you're looking for is a post-ride data dump, the Bryton Rider 100 will suffice. If you're looking for up-to-the second speed readouts, you'll have to shell out quite a bit more money.

Park Tools. Nothing else to say!
I buy Park Tool cycling tools because they're quality items. They fit well, they last forever, and the company contributes to cycling causes.
