Well.....it's an accurate scale model of a wooden shipping crate as would have been used during the period the Russian military trucks I am building were being used, and......it is a very good place to conceal the battery, in fact the ONLY place.

Amazing realism
I'm new at the impressive sophistication of modern RC models so it took me some time to figure out how to use the lighting system. Once I did, actual operation of the controls was surprisingly easy. I left operation of the system on the 'default' mode and find the various lamps coming on in the different vehicle operations very entertaining. Turn signals, backup lamps and alarm, and brake lamps are automatic and that suits me fine. I especially like the 50% and 100% headlamp option, which is the only elective option I am currently using.
