Solar Watches Top all Others
I now have three Seiko solar watches; blue, gray, and black dials. I store them on a window sill and wear one every day. I have two kinetic watches, but keeping them wound is a problem since a winder will not wind a kinetic watch. The solar watch is the watch to buy and this gray dial Seiko is beautiful.

12C Platinum Features Desired over 12C
The 12C Platinum is a cut above the venerable old 12C in speed. Its claim to fame, however, and thus its desirability, is the ability to erase a single digit entered in error by the G - keys. The 12C erases the entire number and is a source of aggrivation to users. The versitility of the Platinum model has reduced desirability of the 12C to almost nil.

Accurate...Stylish
The watch is fairly accurate, i.e. about 1/2 sec per day against WWV. It is stylish and the white dial makes the time easy to read. This is my fourth solar watch and I am impressed with quality of Seiko Solar timepieces.
