I love flats on my P bass, but
1 of 1 found this helpful It has a thin J neck and the high tension of most flats are starting to take a toll.
These are a great compromise.
I hope they age in to the thumpy richness of my old strings, but only the years will tell.
La Bella, what's up with the plastic numbered beads?
January 2019 Edit:
A year and a half later...
These strings have gotten better with age.
They were slightly more "twangy" than I wanted at first, but they have aged in nicely. Very nice range by simply using the passive tone control on my P bass. Much less tension, easier on the thin jazz neck, easier to play certain runs, and plenty of thump on the fundamental. Very happy with these now.
Should get another set started breaking in on another bass.

Great quality for the price point.
Most record clamps are extremely over priced. This one is reasonable. You may want one a little heavier, but this is fine for a belt drive deck.

Can't be beat for the money, as long as you have a quiet room
I really enjoy these headphones. Very impressive for the price. Good bass without being artificially pumped up (like seems to be the current trend), realistic and airy mids and highs. Phones are light and comfortable.
My Android phone can't quite drive them as well as I'd hoped (Motorola triumph) but apparently it's just the phone. My friends iPhone and older Droid x worked just fine. Bought them to use with my home stereo anyway.
The only downside for me is that being an open air type phone, not only do they let quite a bit of sound bleed out, they block zero ambient noise from the room. Not a problem usually, but I can see that I may need a closed set with good isolation from time to time... But they give a different sound stage, and these are good.
