Developers need to let non-techi's test products!
2 of 2 found this helpful I use T Mobile (had a Samsung T919 Behold) replaced twice in 6 months because of phone problems then stepped up to a new myTouch 3G Android.
WHY DON'T SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS LET NON-TECHY PEOPLE TEST PHONES BEFORE THEY MASS PRODUCE THEM???????????????????? Or at least make a thorough list of all the features any one phone should provide before production!
They seem to be as sad as politicians!
The phone is basically smooth in it's operation, but often requires many steps to access a subsequently related action.
WHY IS THERE NO SIMPLE ONE TOUCH SPEED DIAL FEATURE from the phone pad-ARE YOU GUYS KIDDING OR JUST PATHETIC?
WHY CAN'T A DEFAULT MODE BE OFFERED FOR THE LOUD SPEAKER?
WHY CAN'T THERE BE A LOUD SPEAKER THAT'S ACTUALLY LOUD?
WHY CAN'T THE CONTACT LIST BE ACCESSED BY LAST NAMES INSTEAD OF FIRST NAMES ONLY? (Who looks up someone in the yellow pages by there first name?????)
WHY IS THERE A PERMANENT "TEXT HOME" LINE ON EVERY CONTACT, when you can't text a land line in the first place, normally?
In my use of car, mobile and cell phones that range over 25 years of personal experience, I'm really surprised that the investment of time and money into mobile communications hasn't developed superior hand held devices. Small or dinky devices aren't as necessary as PURE FUNCTIONAL ACCESS with the ability to find "all the nuisances" on board using a REAL DROP DOWN MENU that LISTS ALL the stuff the phone is capable of doing, so you can crack the "find it" code.
Overall, almost pretty damn typical. If T Mobile supported the iPone, I'd be complaining about that instead, I'm sure.
"NO GREAT SHAKES", just a middle of the roader...............sad to say.
If nothing else, shame on T Mobile more so than HTC.
Good travels.
