A marked improvement over the S4, at half the price.

Well, I got it for p cheap considering that it was in perfect condition, spare one plate not operating as smooth as I hoped, but im sure there's a calibration for that. its a good system, unfortunatly the "strip search" doesn't seem to do anything, but otherwise for essentially half the price of a Traktor S4, you get a system with far more functionality than an S4, considering that it's a full fledged mixer rather than a MIDI controller. Combine that with a solid build quality throughout, and you'd be soon to forgive it for being so absolutely big and bulky. Aside from a flight case (lol $200) I don't see a way to carry this around much. What really comes to mind are those huge convention bags you get at comicon. if you made sure that it was stapled enough, you could feasibly carry this thing to a show somewhere beyond driving distance. overall 8/10 controller, 10/10 4-channel mixer. i see the appeal of the s4(or any other traktor controller honestly) but this thing just rocks too hard to knock it for being big.
