Excellent alternative
I can brew the coffee blend I want, and save a lot of money as well! There is a little work involved to load these, but once you establish a system, it works well and easily. I built a rack for mine, so I can preload them to brew several without having to clean and reload after each brew. They wash easily under running water, and reload fairly easily using a teaspoon to scoop coffee into the filter. A little work, but they save a ton of money, and again, I brew the blend I choose. There are only a couple of prepared K-cups out there that I find flavorful and satisfying, and they cost a LOT more than my home filled filters. I highly recommend.

Better than original
This one has a wire screen, instead of fiber mesh. The old one clogged from use of softener sheets and I could not clean it without tearing the mesh. The mesh does not appear to be as fine in the new one, but it seems to do an excellent job.

Good concept
It works okay, but I did have some difficulty getting the IDE slot to function. I don't use it as I have found alternative ways to read my drives. I had hoped for a docking station I could switch on when I need it (not leave drives running all the time) and have them accessible at MY will. Many times I have to reboot to read the drives. I have a friend that has drive adaptors (single slot) which read when you turn them on. Perhaps I am too picky... but I know what I want.
