Exceeded my expectations.

I've been CB'ing since the mid 60's (Remember the Johnson Messenger?). I've used dozens of different car antennas over the years, and also with big rigs, since I was an OTR trucker for 30 years. Wilson has always been a trusted name with me though I've tried others from time to time. I always seem to come back to a Wilson. I have a Wilson cell phone signal extender that also works as advertised. When it came time to get a new antenna for my current p/u I chose this Wilson because it had a much longer "stinger" and to me, that means better reception and better transmission. I tuned it up and hit the road with our RV behind my truck. The antenna performed flawlessly and I tested it several times by 'breaking' for some of my old brothers (OTR drivers) going the other way. The magnet in the base could probably be used to pick up my truck . . . Yup, glad I opted for the bigger bucks and got this antenna. The pics just show how it's mounted on my p/u.

A solid replacement for the original.

I bought this to replace the one I broke, which was plugged into a USB port on the rear of my desktop computer. All I can say is, it works as good as the original one.
