It's probably ok to replace a similar one, but not for use with any instruments on the same frequency.
2 of 2 found this helpful It was supposed to broadcast on 433 Mhz, but does not. It will not sync with my present instruments. I'm sure it is a good product, but one takes a chance, unless it is matched to the exact system it came from.
