Almost perfect, a fantastic and gorgeous controller.
3 of 4 found this helpful The DualShock 4 is an impressive controller indeed. It took all the parts of the DualShock 3 that felt dated (such as the shared plastic mold / shape from DualShock 2 and 1) and totally overhauled it to make it look great and feel super comfortable. The D-Pad is, in my humble opinion, near-perfect to the point where I would have little feedback to sony about it were they to ask me for ideas for improvement, and all the buttons and triggers just feel great. Analog sticks are also tight, accurate and perfectly sized and located on the controller.
Only 2 downsides I can think of: The trackpad kinda sucks, but it's NEVER used in non-PS4 titles to be fair, and the analog sticks' rubber isn't very grippy. I've decided to buy some cheap analog thumbsticks for Xbox One to replace the ones provided by Sony as this is one area Microsoft definitely outdid Sony on. My hands get a little sweaty when I play and that can be disruptive, but this is an easy fix and wouldn't bother folks whos hands don't sweat profusely.
Lastly, I actually bought a phone clip for this controller, and pairing it to devices like my phone and PC is SUPER easy and painless, so it makes a great controller for on-the-go gaming too unlike the old Dualshock 3 since pairing that thing was terrible.
All-in-all, I think this is my favourite controller of all time.
