a shop dust blower, not a leaf blower
So, I purchased this as a leaf blower...its not! unless maybe you have a tiny yard in town that the grass is cut every week, and thus the leaves do not get stuck in the grass; then it might work ok for that. What is it, really? it is shop tool to blow dust; it is a garage blower so you don't have to sweep; it is blower to blow back debri so you can lay a tile or laminate floor; it can be used as a blower for things like blowing the super tiny leaves from your blueberry bushes off of the mulch without disturbing the mulch too much. In all those cases, it worked well, and I would recommend it. But not for what it is advertised to do; its really not a leaf blower, so just go buy the $200 makita. This one is very very small, like a kids toy in size. But it does work well for the things listed above, so I kept it anyhow.
I did try the suction mode (in reverse) to see if I could vacuum up some bees from the front of my hive. I thought it could make a good vacuum to catch swarms of bees, but none of the bees made it through alive; ahh! So, just a shop dust blower, not a leaf blower.
