Good lens for my X-E2s
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great match for the X-E2s. It is a zoom so I can't expect it to be as sharp as a prime, especially the excellent Fuji primes. But I can't afford them nor do I want to put that kind of money into the small-sensor lenses when I can buy used Nikon lenses for full frame, which is my main system. This lens is stabilized which helps offset the slower speed, f/4 at most focal lengths. All in all a good lens with great build and looks great.

Good price on an excellent light.
Well made light with metal frame. Good light output for its size and battery life is good considering its size and output. The price I paid was about 25 percent less than the big A's price. However, the unit I received is probably a return from there. The charging cord that came with it was the wrong type and the plastic wrap looked used. The unit was OK, but the seller needs to clarify. I will use this light as a source for backlighting, with additional diffusion, the transparencies I am digitizing with my mirrorless Fuji camera and a macro lens. Accurate color is important, and if the CR 97 holds true, then this is a significant savings over the Negative Supply light source.

Great landfill item. Plan to replace it every year.
One of the few under-$100 ways to print DVDs. Does a good job, but it is incredibly fussy about the placement of the disc holder. Usually takes 5 or 6 tries to get it aligned just right.
Print quality is good; I use it to print reunion photos for jobs I get and need to turn around quickly.
I've had three of these machines and they all die within 18 months of purchase. Only occasional use. I'm convinced there is a chip in there that makes the machine shut down after 18 months of use or if you use non-Canon ink (which is the only way to go as operating costs are insane with Canon ink).
So plan on getting a year of service and then ditching it. The landfills are doing a great business with this machine. Wish I could find a creative repurposing, but let's face it, digital has no aesthetics like an old manual typewriter had.
