  I should have taken more notice of the photos , I thought it was bad photography I didn’t realise the pattern on 3 of the plates had completely disappeared for some very strange reason my fault for not questioning this

  That is not fair! As you say, the photos clearly showed the colour fading on each of the individual 6 plates that I listed - and this was well reflected in the price of only £6 (£1 each). ALSO, I even through in an additional plate, for which I did not receive even a "Thank You".
