It really seems to be better than the original one that my Taylor came with!
I'm not gonna totally swear by it yet however, I popped into my Taylor GS Mini Mahogany guitar last night and it seemed to sound just as good, if not better, than the original one that came with my guitar—though it is hard to compare unless you are doing it side by side. My impression though is that is sounds better than the original. I do need to test it out more but so far I am really liking it!
Update:
I wound up liking this pickup so much that I just bought another one with my eBay Bucks just in case I needed another one in the future and I don't have the time to wait for it to arrive. I am running it through an ES-2 pre amp that I put into an older Taylor GS mini. And with the 25% additional gain from the ES-2 pre amp (as opposed to the ES-T pre amp) and this being a high gain pick up, the sound is pretty phenomenal for a piezo pickup! It's a keeper!

Really nice bass: I converted it to a High Five.
Awesome tone and great pickups! And the one I got is really beautiful! Some don't look that great as the body is usually 2 or more glued together pieces and some of wood segments don't match very well or look very good together. But I can't really complain too much about mine! I converted mine into a High Five bass and installed a HipShot Bass Extender (with Double Stop Lever) tuned to: Drop B or Drop D or Standard E all on the E string and then, ADGC. Great having a high C on a 5 string bass!

They sound good compared to plastic pins but...
I like the slight sound enhancement that these bridge pins give me over my plastic pins however, these "sold white" Tusq pins are NOT really solid; the tops of of them are hollowed out for abalone inlays and are filled in with a NON Tusq material or resin of some kind. This wouldn't necessarily be a problem but some are crowned on top with the resin material (too much resin), some are flat (just the right amount of resin), and some are dimpled (because they didn't top off holes all the way with the resin). They work fine but I had to by more just to assemble a set out of the extras that all matched. I only put that they are not a good value because I had to buy more just to get sets that would match otherwise they would be a good value if they were all the same.
