Grade B m1912 US Cavalry Colt 45 Auto 1911 m1911 Pistol Leather Swivel Holster

Good reproduction holster

I have an original M1912 holster made in 1918 that this is patterned after. As far as reproductions go, I'd say this one is very good. The leather is thicker, thus making it more stiff. I used Obenauf's HD on the outside and inside to soften it up a bit, but not too much. The inside raised pad is thinner than the original, but I don't really see how that makes a difference. For the money, an excellent buy. Heck, even at twice the money, it would be worth it! Photo is of the 100-year-old holster.

Details Details!

It is much smaller than some others I have seen, yet I was blown away at the detail on this model. Our 1999 SE is the same color, and this model looks like someone shrunk the real deal! The only thing that was a bit hokey in appearance is the side stand. It also should have two radio antennas.

Great, informative book

A very good, detailed history of the AR-15 / M16 rifle. If you are into intricate details of how a rifle goes from concept to fruition and beyond, this is the book for you. Also the behind-the-scenes views of the political side of procurement.
