Donovan Fan but don't have Barabajagal?
1 of 1 found this helpful I suppose there are many people who only have his his "Greatest Hits" cd.
If you are one of those fans, I feel this is his best album.
I had it a few years ago and missed it. There are many bonus tracks and I am glad it is part of my collection (again) ;) The remastering reveals many "sounds" that I didn't remember being able to hear on the other cd I had. If you're a fan of Donovan...this is probably his "Sgt. Pepper" (not that it even comes close to Sgt. Pepper but you know what I mean) I believe Donovan does belong in the Rock N Roll hall of fame (he is one of the nominees this year) I believe Led Zepplin met at a Donovan session...listen to the song "Hurdy Gurdy Man" it's Page, Bonham and Jones...in the generous booklet that comes with this Barabajagal cd Donovan mentions he remembers John Paul Jones playing on one of my favorite tracks from this fine cd "Super Lungs" (my super girl)
