Keyword "Universal"
It came as described, and I'm sure it works fine in most cases, but because it's basically "one size fits most," my TV happened to not have the right specs for it to work. The holes on the stand didn't line up with the holes on my TV, so it just doesn't work. My TV is a little bit older, so maybe it works better with newer models. Overall though, it looked pretty sturdy, and I'm sure it would've been able to hold my TV, which is around 65 pounds.
