A must-play title for any Wii owner.
There's a lot of stuff on the wii that you won't find anywhere else. Some bad, some good. This title, is great, and is a great addition to any Wii owner's library.
This game has a lot of heart, and plays solid. It's unique, and has an interesting view of the story. You are a part of it, but aren't at the same time. You play as insects (Spider and Scorpion) and go about your life as such, while humans do human stuff in the background. These humans are voiced by Billy Bob Thornton and the late Dennis Hopper!
The areas and settings are really cool. Here's an example: I'll never forget traversing tunnels underground, trying to survive, and making out large strange shapes before me. It took me a second to realize these shapes were familiar but strange due to my tiny size as a spider. I was in a coffin with a dead body!
It's a neat game, worth your time and money.

One of the best games of all time,
2 of 2 found this helpful This game is one of the best games i ever played. I used to stay up all night adventuring in 80's Japan in this game. And I will again.
This game is pretty much "required reading" for any fan of Dreamcast, Sega, Adventure/quest games, martial arts, or classic video games, period. It is easily considered to be one of the best unknown/under-rated games ever.
Because the Dreamcast was removed from shelves so quickly to be replaced by newer consoles, few people had a chance to experience this game in it's day. This game is deep. You become fully immersed in 1987 Japan, as Ryo, the teenage son of a murdered martial arts master, seeking the truth and/or revenge of his death. It will take you to many places and meet many people. you will fight to protect yourself and work to support yourself. you will uncover mysteries. you will discover.... Shenmue. One your most favorite games, I promise.

My Favorite Xbox Game
I'll make this simple. Shenmue was my favorite Dreamcast game. Shenmue II, is my favorite Xbox game as a result of that. It's the best version as the time I write this, as it has more features than the original Dreamcast release of Shenmue II. The Xbox version includes "Shenmue: The Movie", which is a nice rearranged and rolled-up recording of the Original Shenmue so players get the backstory who need it.
It supports 480p with the Xbox's component cables, as well as back compatibility support making it playable on the Xbox 360, in 480p via HDMI or component. This is nice considering the Dreamcast version only supports RGB VGA, which is hard to come by these days if you want to play on a TV and not a monitor. Oh, and did I mention this version features the return of the English voice cast from the original Shenmue, unlike the Dreamcast version of Shenmue II?
This version gives you the most bang for your buck. It's a solid sequel worth taking up shelf space of any game collector.
