A nice pool for the money
2 of 2 found this helpful A nice, 13" or so deep pool to cool off & relax in. Bought it for my mom to replace her old one, and she was ecstatic (probably because it was a 90 degree day). Being an inflatable, I'd recommend having an Intex electric inflation pump on-hand (or pick one up separately), a tarp to place it on and an Intex pool cover wouldn't be a bad idea either. Each of the (3) air chambers took about 5 minutes each to inflate with the Intex pump. For the joy it brought my mom, I'd definitely buy it again.

Takes time to complete.
1 of 1 found this helpful This thing is TINY!!! Think 1/87 scale (for comparison). Very well laser cut, tabs fit where they are supposed to, IF you are diligent to use the right tools, bend parts rightly AND take your time. It's a precision cut item that WILL go together, given YOUR due diligence. DON'T skip ahead on steps and assemble parts ahead of time. Follow the instructions in order. Just like a plastic kit, do a dry run, locating where parts are BEFORE you begin. I would make some beneficial recommendations as to what you should have on-hand for assembly: Make sure that you have strong, well-made tweezers. The ones that are provided are usable, ... BUT lacking in the proper strength & power. Buy a good set. Make sure you buy a quality snipping tool. I used an X-acto knife (initially), and while that works (and dulled the knife handily), you WILL spend a lot of time then feel it in your fingertips later. Finally, DO wear safety glasses. This is a metal kit and once parts separate from the parent sheets, they not only are sharp-edged but may fling up at your face (eyes), across the room or send you on a hands-n-knees search across your building area to locate them. Requires the utmost in patience to complete (I'm still working on mine).

Great book, brought back memories
I very much appreciated this book, as I, also, was deployed with the 58th Gorillas at Tabuk during Desert Storm and recalled the individuals mentioned in the book, as well as Tollini. I was part of the ground crew (weapons crew - arming the F-15's) and rarely got a glimpse into the experience of the pilots we launched out and recovered during the campaign. Winessing the barrel rolls first-hand when certain pilots returned to base after a succesful mission is something I will never forget. Glad to read the perspective from the cockpit, as well as the unknown, other tasks Kluso was part of which made the campaign a success. Definitely recommend the book.
