Prime Suspect and Intelligent Mystery Series
I love the any British mystery series and Prime Suspect is excellent. A strong woman that does not back down in a male dominate work environment. Some Americans can't get into Brit shows but it is interesting to see the cultural differences in the legal and police professions. It's fiction, it's fun. It's like a British "The Closer". All the series progress from year to year so you can follow the characters...like Law and Order.
Either you'll love it or hate it.
