My Review of Notte Magica CD + DVD SET
Both the CD and DVD are absolutely magical. The Il Volo boys have shown us that they CAN sing opera after all even though they have made it perfectly clear that they would have a long way to go before they could ever assume to call themselves opera singers. I was not surprised that Piero could do it as I have heard him sing a couple of these arias in prior concerts and I knew that he had been studying how to sing opera for awhile. I also had heard that Ignazio had begun to study with the same voice coach as Piero but I was entranced by his rendition of Le Elisir D'Amore, and I was astounded by Gianluca's rendition of La Danza, especially since I had not heard of him ever studying opera at all. In addition to the opera arias, they also sing some broadway songs and several Italian classics. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with your purchase of Notte Magica.

I LOVE MY NOTTE MAGICA CD
This CD is absolutely beautiful, marvelous, glorious, etc. Ran out of words to describe it. The boys of Il Volo sing their hearts out for us in this, their first attempt at an operatic style CD. Their voices are magnificent, whether they are singing solos, duets, or all three together. Their conductor and mentor Maestro Domingo actually joins them singing one of the songs and that is an extra little treat. It is packed full with operatic arias, classical songs, Broadway melodies and two extras thrown in at the end: one, a big surprise to me, is a new Ave Maria that I have never heard before and then finally, a version of Adeste Fideles (just in time for Christmas).
