Best monitor mount I’ve ever owned
The design and function of this mount are absolutely superlative. It’s simple, elegant, and easy to use.
If it has any shortcoming, it’s that vertical adjustments aren’t as easy as a gas-assisted mount. The brilliant design does make vertical adjustment easier than ANY non-gas lift mount I’ve ever used though. You simply twist the red “nut” on the pole to go up and down. I prefer this to gas-assisted because I’ve found those designs tend to bounce a bit and take several “nudges” after the fact to get them where I want them.
The design is also excellent when you have a wall directly behind the desk. Many mounts protrude behind the mounting point when you move the monitor away from you, and if there’s a wall there it usually gets scratched and dented. That simply doesn’t happen here.
I believe anyone with an eye for design or engineering can’t help but fall in love with it.
