Not as good as it promised.
This book has some interesting ideas and new options, but ultimately, nothing changing enough or different enough to be of use to the average player. The better ideas of the book wound up in Pathfinder, anyway. I am not sorry I got it because it's a good part of my rebuilding collection of books, but it doesn't have much that is distinctly useful to me.

I liked reading about the fey world and seeing how it worked. Meeting the Eldest gods was interesting, too. A few of them actually make good choices for druids.
As far as value, the price was low enough to be fair.
The only reason I didn't call the content compelling is that the book is so short. It feels like a slice of a cake when it should be the full pastry.

Good for proliferating.
It does exactly what I bought it for. A fine compliment for both an infect deck and a Darksteel Reactor deck.
