Yep, it works
Perfect solution to dampening strings while tapping. I could actually here acoustically what I was playing on an electric four string bass, without all those weird overtones that makes you want to plug into an amp at 2 o'clock in the morning, which my upstairs neighbor in my condo loves. I'm sure there's other applications, but that's why I got it. Works amazingly well
