Why didn’t I buy one sooner ?

It’s made lighting the fire easier , I have mixed wood in the store - some seasoned - some from last year - other logs kiln dried - and can now see what is ready to burn and what needs to left longer. I thought I could make an accurate guess, going by weight and the feel of the logs BUT NO !! it turns out I can’t 🙂, this shows exactly what the moisture content is. Would recommend this little gem

I great book !!

I have been on a weekend basketmaking course and wanted a book that consolidates the learning , and gives a broader view of basket making - it’s a little dated, but that is in some ways an advantage , because it’s not just a razzmatazz book , it’s also informative. I would recommend it !

The best saw I’ve ever had !

Bought this to prune trees and coppice hazel on my land , it’s very sharp, lightweight , ergonomic handle , well balanced and makes cutting wood easy. I would recommend it !! Coppiced enough hazel in one day to weave into a 6m fence And make a Gate the next.
