Poljot's 3133: a simple, dependable movement for simple, dependable watches.
3 of 3 found this helpful Poljot has been making the 3133 chronograph movement for years, and as such it hasn't changed much. On the face, you get the time and bicompax chronograph layout, with running seconds at 9, 30-minute register at 3, and chronograph seconds and time in the centre. You also get the date at 6. Inside, you'll find a simple coulisse lever, horizontal clutch chronograph mechanism, which is simple to understand and repair - that is, if you ever need to repair it - but harder to use and less accurate than column wheels or vertical clutches. Thanks to this simplicity, 3133-equipped watches can be put into any sort of watch, from limited edition commemorative watches to basic working-man's watches, and put into any situation, from a display case to a construction site, and work flawlessly.

6139's are amazingly complex, solid, affordable watches.
Seiko 6139's are venerable grand complications, sporting a column wheel, vertical clutch chronograph with 30-minute register, day and date calendar, and automatic winding via Seiko's Magic Lever system. Their complexity leaves many watch repairers incapable of working on them. The sheer engineering skill behind the 6139 is incredible. And yet, 6139's can be had for less money than a typical desktop PC, and if treated properly will run perfectly for many more years to come (and considering the ~40 years these watches have been around, that's quite the feat). If you can find a good example, you'll have yourself a frankly incredible timepiece that is well regarded in even the most high-end watch communities, despite being from a mid-range brand and designed for daily hard use.

Filters pops without changing sound
2 of 2 found this helpful Pop filters all do the same thing: block hard puffs of air from the microphone diaphragm. Neewer makes a very functional pop filter that does just that, but for a very good price despite the variety of good features, including screw clamp, gooseneck, and adjustable frame.
