Better value than an i7, better thermal tolerance!

Great processor that came with thermal compound!
1 of 1 found this helpful For 60 dollars, only a used Intel Xeon processor can beat this quad-core beast. Keep in mind however that this only supports PCIe Gen 2.0 and AVX (1.0). But if you do not mind those (most games do not see benefits from PCIe Gen 3 bandwidth yet anyway), then it's perfect for your rig. I would recommend an ASUS or Gigabyte board for it though, as Intel ones tend to be problematic.
