The Guys Who Wrote 'Em!!!
Have been a fan of these guys ever since The Monkees burst on the scene in 1966...great songwriters, lots of great songs...well, this puts all of the pieces together and includes all the singles and B-sides. It's easy to tell just why they were so successful over the years. Lots of memories here, from their big hit singles to their own versions of some of the songs they gave to The Monkees project. Coupled with the other CD (Volume 1: The Albums), this puts it all together, and it's a fun, joyous ride back through a great time for pop music in general. I've been looking for this stuff for a good long time, and this was aq pure joy to pop into my player and hear all the great stuff they released, on top of the songs they wrote for so many others. For an even closer look at their success as songwriters, pick up "The Songs of Boyce & Hart", which includes their hits and the hits they gave to everyone else, including Paul Revere & the Raiders, Curtis Lee, Jay & the Americans, Little Anthony & the Imperials and so many more. This was a great find, and if you were a fan of any of this stuff, you won't be disappointed in the least. Bobby Hart just celebrated his 80th birthday, and this is a great way to celebrate. This is how great pop songwriting is done!

One of Canada's finest bands in a live setting
Great concert video of a longtime favorite band. I had the chance to meet the band years ago when they came to play in Vermont, and have remained a fan of theirs over the years. This is a nice sampling of the band onstage doing what they do best...I only wish it was longer, but I'll take what i can get!

The fun continues!
Loved the first two of these and Transylvania 3 is no exception. Just as much fun as ever...lots of silliness and laughs and that's just fine by me!
