Traded a few inches of seat for 1/2 a gallon of low slung fuel - worth it.
2 of 2 found this helpful Solid construction, comes with instructions and necessary hardware to install. Also came with a diagram showing where to trim the seat back to, very helpful! IMS doesn't waste any space though, had to pull the subframe to slide this thing in!
Well worth the effort to have another half gallon of fuel onboard, especially low on the bike versus a Safari tank for the WR450F... the fuel sits high and you can't change your air filter without removing the handlebars and tank with one of those. So while you lose a little bit of the seat to this tank, you aren't sitting up there much on a WR and it keeps the weight low while maintaining access to the 2016's air filter.

Great drives for unRaid or NAS server
I have 4 of these 12TB Red+ 5400RPM drives and they've all passed an unRaid preclear process (read every bit, write 0 to every bit, read and confirm every bit is 0). I've had 2 in 24/7 service for 5 months and 2 brand new... perfect SMART reports on all.
Sustained write speeds during my most recent two 12TB disk rebuilds were:
133MB/s taking 25 hours
147MB/s taking 23 hours
I have seen write speeds as high as 180MB/s during the first 1TB of rebuilds though.
I also have two 3TB and one 4TB WD Reds... all have performed well, the 3TB drives are over 4 years in 24/7 use now with perfect SMART reports. I expect to see the same performance with these as well.
