Perfect fit!
I wish they had one of these for the A7 because this is so slight but firm, hardly an weight at all yet it is rigid, and totally useful! I bought a different brand one for the A7 and it's too big and heavy, I don't even put on the L part of the plate, for vertical shooting, because it's so obtrusive. This little l-plate is not obtrusive and I highly recommend it.

7 of 7 found this helpful The FE 50 1.8 gets a lot of flack for poor focus speed but really it's not bad. I actually like, no, prefer the way it focuses for video, it's very sure but not overly quick, kind of like Canon dpaf. It works great on both the a6000 and a7. Some CA wide open but that is to be expected for a fast prime with no special glass elements but easily correctable in post. It is a modern prime that has an old school look in the photos, reminds me of the minoltas I shoot, it has character. I like it and it is always on a camera ready for action.
