Cost-effective. The key is reasonable expectations.
I work security at apartments. Needed something to draw attention to my marked car and deter thieves. Nighttime use only. These work great for my intended purpose. Bright enough to be noticed but not so bright as to blind passers-by or give me a headache (they're on constantly during my shift). Came complete w/power source and controller - easy to install and use. The low power usage was a deal-maker for me - can leave these lights running for hours with the engine off and they don't draw the battery down. I'd say the brightness is similar to that of the OEM hazard lights (which blink slowly and use more power). Quality seems perfectly acceptable for this price point. If you need strobes for daylight, get something brighter.

2 of 2 found this helpful In a word: quiet. The YouTube video says it all - these CAT compressors are virtually silent compared to their old-school brothers. Mine arrived in good shape and was easily set up. Seems to be of good quality. Refills quickly. The 8.0 gallon tank has greater capacity than the common 5.5 gallon, for just a few dollars more. Gonna sell my old compressor to someone who doesn't mind wearing earmuffs all the time.

A useful item that works great.
Seems reasonably well-made, price was right, performs as expected. I've had it 8+ months now, no troubles. If you have a number of low-draw items in your car (and who doesn't nowadays?), this is just what you need to get power to them all in one package. I put the box out of sight in my center console and discreetly ran the cord to the cigarette lighter in my ashtray. Remember, about 155W is the max on a typical power port/cig lighter, so don't hook a hair dryer to it.
