Good product for a reasonable price
It installed easily and works as expected. The fan does run all the time and is a bit noisy. The PC is in an environment where audio production is done and as such the noise intrudes a bit much. In any other application it would be a non-issue. In my mind it is a minor thing and would not keep me from recommending it except for the aforementioned caveat.

Good water filter cartridge
I've been using the DuPont faucet mount system - non-electronic version - for several years. I always have a good experience and it works quite well for me. The water tastes good and I feel confident that it is filtering out the harmful things that may be present (I like in a house built in 1898 so the presence of lead pipe is a definite possibility). These replacement cartridges are just what I was needing after my usual source was unable to have any in stock for the last 7 mo. or so. So pleased I found them here. I just change them every 3 months and I am good to go.

Slice of film history with a good bonus feature.
The remastering makes the picture look quite good, although the 16mm footage (predominantly the Mardi Gras portion) remains at a lower resolution which is to be expected. My feeling is it is appropriate that footage be a bit on the grainy side due to the nature of what is being presented. It works. I appreciated the bonus feature "Shaking the Cage" as it provided additional insight I was only vaguely aware of before viewing.
Easy Rider's place in film history is secure, but the story line itself has not aged well for me. I remember seeing the film for the first time at it's release and being moved by it. Chalk it up to being a 17 year old - or perhaps the distance from the social issues - but whatever you may attribute the change to, it no longer moves me in the way it did in 1969. In the STC feature Hopper mentions that there were no films being made that truly reflected the youth culture at the time which is somewhat true. There were certainly none that reflected the "druggy" side of the culture in a meaningful way - most were exploitative at best. Easy Rider tackles that side of the culture.
As far as if it's worth owning, perhaps for the truly committed fan. Is it worth seeing, yes, if only for getting a feel for what this film accomplished - especially when compared to the other films released at this same time.
