Doesn't live up to all the hype.
3 of 6 found this helpful I've always just carried cheap pocket knives, but recently decided I wanted to step up to a high quality EDC knife. After looking at dozens and dozens of knife reviews by "experts" online I decided on the Paramilitary 2.
My first impression was its a good quality knife, but a bit on the large size in the pocket and in the hand. Its razor sharp as all knives should be, but with a name like Paramilitary I was expecting something a built a little more heavy duty. The blade stock seems a bit on the thin side for a knife that may see Heavy use. I've seen pictures of other people's para 2 with broken tips and even a couple with blades broken in half.
I'm not sure if I will keep this knife. Its a lot of money to spend on something that doesn't feel 100% satisfying in my hand. Perhaps next time I will go to a store and put knife in hand before making a purchase based on "expert" reviews.
