Great Heater that Does the Job
One of the main reasons why I always choose ceramic electric heaters to use in my home is that they provide a nice even heat without those strong odors of burning dust and debris on the heating coils that I have always encountered in resistance heaters. I believe that the heating coil is embedded in the ceramic material and that is why I can't smell it burning off the dusty dirty residue that seems to deposit on it. I have used quartz tube heaters also where the resistance coil is inserted inside a quartz glass tube, but I have had lots of trouble with burning dust deposits on the quartz tubes even when I wipe them clean with a damp towel. For some reason, it still persists. This heater and the other two models I bought from Lasko works just fine without that noticeable strong odor being present.

Best Quality Cooler on the Market
This is the third Cuisinart Cooler that I have bought. The first one lasted for about 4 years until going out. I had 2 other brands prior to this brand and they all lasted around 3 years or so. They are work quietly and provide cool drinks as I use it as a refrigerator at work for soda and water. I like my refreshments cool and this little unit really does the job all the while saving energy compared to a small refrigerator. To enhance the cooling, I have a small silent fan directed on the back of the unit to help get rid of the heat being exhausted there. This makes the unit run more efficiently when placed in a corner. The quality reminds me of a good modern refrigerator what with magnetic door seal and interior light with LED digital temperature setting display. I bought this one as a spare just in case my 2nd one should fail sometime in the future as they all do eventually since the internal fans seem to run continuously. When the fan finally wears out, the unit doesn't get the proper cooling it needs and it is subject to failure. I have replaced fans in the past on my other brands and it works for a while longer, but a new one is best after such long service, it's worth it. Great product!

Best Center Channel Speaker Ever Made!
4 of 4 found this helpful The Boston Acoustics VR12 Center Channel Speaker was the best one I have ever heard on the market when it first came out and by the time I had saved up enough money to buy it, it was no longer available. I was extremely disappointed at the time. I never thought that I would get another chance to own it many years later, especially in perfect condition. Well, luck smiled on me and my dream came true through eBay. It is everything all of the other reviews said about it. I have two center channel speakers now that I switch between depending on whether the center volume is loud or low in the movie I am watching. It seems like most Dolby digital broadcasts have center channel volume too low to be able to hear what the characters are saying or whispering, so I just cut in the
VR12 to enhance the sound output immediately. It works perfectly. For so many years I suffered with low center channel volume and had to resort to adjusting my amplifier to make up for it which delays the action while I went through the procedure. Sometimes I would miss some of the action and what was said which was frustrating. Now, it is almost an immediate transition thanks to the VR12. I would rather put up with its large size than suffer the loss of volume during my viewing. It is excellent!!!
