High powered performance, without Miller Brothers prices (sorry guys)
4 of 4 found this helpful I have looked for a "tactical" sword for a long time, and while the Cold Steel Magnum Tanto XII may not be a "sword" the 12 inch blade means I can be close without having to be too close, and with that length of a blade I have a considerable reach and slashing power if needed....I think Mick Dundee was half right when he said, "that's not a knife....this (Cold Steel Magnum Tanto XII) is a knife"

3 of 3 found this helpful Cold Steel makes some great knives, some truly are a bit pricy but as a former armed professional I know a knife that you can count on is important, so getting a good price for this knife was a major plus and even though it's not really a combat knife, the materials and workmanship in making the knife, the blade lenth, thickness, edge, and overall ergonomic design makes this knife superior to many so called "combat knives" that flood the market. Also i removed the belt loop from the very slender sheath to tuck into my pants at the belt line and the knife is perfect as a back up concealed carry blade and just so you know, it does perform exceptionally well as a self defense weapon.
