Sony PEG-SJ22 Probably The Most Solid PDA Ever
Okay, it runs an old Dragonball 33 and is slow. But there never has been anything else as compact, convenient and reliable as this old design. They keep on ticking long after newer Palm units have died from poor hardware. Simple and elegant.
The one downside is the system font Sony decided to use. It's nearly unreadable, but there are several utilities available to replace it with some great choices.
Even today, there still isn't anything as convenient or small to just take around anywhere for book reading, news stories, taking notes or whatever. Maybe someone will eventually get around to making a 3-1/2" or 4" tablet, but until then this is still your best choice.

Great Unit With Bad Apostrophe and Reflective Screen
Though discontinued, this is still one of the most solid netbooks ever made. Construction is very first rate, and it's extremely easy to upgrade most of the components.
You will hear a lot of moaning about the keyboard, but it really isn't that bad except for one thing: the US keyboard has an insane apostrophe/quote placement. I've remapped it to the capslock key, but that's an annoying process at best.
Otherwise it's basically perfect except for the reflective screen. I know they have their fans, but really they just stink. Hopefully that silly trend will die out. On the other hand, the resolution is the same as larger netbook screens but with a tighter dot pitch, so everything looks a lot smoother than on just about any other computer you can get.
There are better new units available, but few with the solid construction of the Mini 9 and none so small.

Smooth Close Shave With A Little Practice
Very smooth and close shave with the right blade (you'll have to experiment -- we're all different). The head broke on mine from overtorquing it, but that's trivial to fix with a new part from maggard razors -- good to know. There's a learning curve, but in the end you'll get a better shave for less money and put no plastic into our waste stream, which is nice.
