Easy to install and WORKS GREAT!
Installing this product (motherboard +) fixed my computer!!!
It was a great value and now my computer runs smoothly and quickly.
With the help of instructional videos, it was fairly easy to install.

Please read this before buying for Roku 3
5 of 5 found this helpful I purchased the basic remote after reading that it "works like a charm" with the Roku 3 console
directly, out of the box. All online sources I could find, (including the Roku website) stated that this
remote would work without programming or pairing. I found that this was not the case.
In fact, it's not possible to do either with this type of remote, as it doesn't have a pairing button.
I bought the Roku 3 used, without a remote, not knowing what type of remote would work with my
model. After researching, I found that the original remote is voice activated with a pairing button.
I recommend investing in that type of remote for your Roku 3.
I tried every solution that I could find to get the remote to connect with the Roku 3, but none worked.
I was nearly ready to give up when I discovered the answer that worked for me. Using an online remote
tool from my laptop, I navigated the onscreen menu to restart the Roku device. While the white indicator
light on the front of the Roku was blinking, I aimed the remote directly at close range to the device and
pressed random buttons on the remote repeatedly. Eventually I noticed the indicator light began to
flicker in response to my button pushes. Success! My remote connected to the Roku box and all remote
buttons worked great. Later I removed the batteries, waited a few moments for the remote to reset,
repeated the procedure to connect and it worked again. I sincerely hope that this helps others in a
similar situation.

Great Alternative Solution for Connecting Old to New Audio Equipment

Although HDMI (one cable handling digital audio and video signals) has overshadowed this item, it delivers excellent audio. It has enabled me to connect a high quality, older home theater receiver to a newer HDTV. The receiver has an optical input, but doesn't have an HDMI port, so this product is a perfect solution for me. It's fairly easy to connect. Once you match the shape of the cable with the connection, it snaps securely into place. Just be sure to remove the small, clear plastic protective end caps from new cables before you attempt to connect. Considering the results I am experiencing, I would expect this cable to be more expensive, but it's a great bargain. I highly recommend the purchase of this product if it meets your needs. Install it and enjoy great sound!
