Problem if you plan to use the walkie talkies in the United States

The walkie talkies appear to be quality units, but they are shipped with Chinese radio frequencies that are illegal to transmit on in the United States. The equipment is designed and can only be programmed with new frequencies by means of a computer, a programming cable and the proper software. That is where the problem lies. This unit will not accept Beofeng UV-6 or UV-6R software to program it. Chirp will not program it. The programming software for the Beofeng UV-6D model is not available on the internet, and thus CANNOT be programmed with new frequencies. I wish that I had known this fact before buying them.

Quality product that works as intended. But be careful to read the description fully through. The charger is technically a 40 watt charger, but each of the two USB-c outlets can only deliver 20 watts each. My bad for not reading the eBay listing fully through before buying.
