Why pay $15,000 dollars for cable every ten years?
11 of 11 found this helpful I have been interested in classic films for years. I have found that, rather than paying a cable bill of $120 or more a month to be ridiculous, especially when there are only one or two channels I would watch. So, several years ago, I did the math......One month of cable is $120, one years of cable is $1440.00 and ten years of cable is $14,400.00.
With only a couple channels I will watch, and then still have to deal with commercials and cable channel self promo commercials, I decided I would be happier just taking that monthly expenditure and start buying DVDs of TV shows and movies that I like.
Then, at the end of ten years, I should likely have a vast collection of film and video that I like all of, and never have to see another commercial again.

Have enjoyed Twilight Zone for years.
This is a decent price for the entire series. So far, and the DVDs work fine. At this price though, you don't get closed captions, and the volume is a little low. But still, better than watching commercials or paying for cable where you only watch two of their channels anyway.
