Traxxas 7426X battery hold down
3 of 3 found this helpful Works great! Be cautioned to know for sure which chassis that you have before you order. LCG or HCG. This Part is for the LCG chassis. The HCG part will not fit the LCG chassis without extensive modification and is not worth the effort to do so.

It does what is required of it to do.
I wanted to eliminate some of the heat produced by the stock exhaust. I wanted it to run louder for safety reasons. I wanted to increase the fuel mileage. I have not noticed a real increase in fuel mileage, but it definitely runs cooler and is considerably louder and saves quite a few pounds in weight over the stock system. What I liked most about the system is that it was moderately easy to install. What I didn't like about my particular install was the a couple of the nuts that were supplied had to be replaced as they were too large. Also the instructions need to be a bit more concise with better illustrations. It needs to be noted here and at the time of purchase that this installation should require the additional installation of Vance and Hines Fuelpak (or similar remapping device)to reprogram the fuel map of the induction system. I have no basis to compare this system with other aftermarket exhaust systems, but it reduces the compression breaking of the stock system and is much more free flowing. It also should be noted that it requires the elimination of the stock ex-up valve and cables.
