It is a great antenna for USB modems/hotspots
I bought this along with a CradlePoint router to use with my USB modem to get better signal while in the car, it gives me better signal everywhere I go, i deducted 1 star because the port that connects to the USB modem is loose but other than that it works fine

a great lightweight router with powerful features
I have a USB modem and I bought this to get wifi in my car because I have a teen who needs to connect his iPad on the go and this works perfectly for this purpose, I got it for $30 from harrisgear and the only thing I had to do was update the firmware and I was ready to go, even though it's been discontinued by the manufacturer but when you get the latest firmware version 2.0.0 it will work with most USB modems. I rate this 4.8/5
