Great for stone!
I have this track, it’s base is fixed upon a makita 7.25. I have a copper h20 line squirting at the blades leading edge, OF COARSE it’s running through a gfi protected extension chord.
I use this set up to cut granite counters. This track remarkably stays put despite all the water and wet stone.

bought on eBay 6/18 for 299.00
I bought an old stock brand new with case and included accessories for 299.00 what a steal! this saw and the hilti WSC A36 run on any guide rail. The A36 is a cordless circular/ track saw everyday use and precision track. The WSC 267 is a precision hypoid variable speed track saw with dust port for shop collection both are plenty durable for on site use. Think of it like festool for “physical” type men

Don’t own a Makita saw
As stated, I dont own a Makita saw, but It works well with my Hilti WSC 255 and WSC 7.25-36a
I read the tracks are practically identical and it seems so. I also bought the Makita clamps, the metal appears pitted from the casting. I started grinding and polishing them smooth, dramatically improving their ability to slide in the track and the jaw and rail of the clamp
