An in depth look at the modern day Navy & day to day life of the young men aboard ship! A whole lot of excitement & a close look at the perils of life aboard ship, living conditions (Unbelievably SMALL) .
Each & every area of the carrier is featured; sailors are honest about pros & cons of Navy life; every occupation is explored from mess hall to bird's nest. Officers explain their duties well, and pilots share a real commeraderrie. All isn't a picnic during the long months at sea, & some take to it better than others, to say the least. This film follows their journey from day 1 out of port to their return. Lives are changed, drama is a daily occurence , but it's an honest & close-up look at those who sign on to "see the world", & that they do! So glad I bought it!
