Unit arrived quickly, we’ll packed, and apparently working. I currently don’t have a CRT to try it on, but there’s little to go wrong if it powers up, which it does. I’m pleased with the purchase.

Precise ESR-V5 LRC Internal Resistance Meter Test In Circuit Capacitor Tester

OK, but spend a few dollars more on a better one.

This meter is very small, screen is about 1" (2.5CM) square and not backlight. It seems to work (ESR) though using it to measure capacitance is way off. The price is right, but a few dollars more will probably get you a much belter ESR meter. The meter is powered by an internal Lithion Ion battery charged by a micro-USB jack. Mine came with a cable, but several reviews say it does not. Unfortunately, there are absolutely NO instructions and the chart on the meter is so small as to be unreadable without magnification.

Battery Saved The Old Nook Classic

This battery kept a Nook Classic out of the landfill. The ebook is obsolete, but contains several hundred books which are still accessible, so it’s worth keeping it operational. This was one of very few sources that still had a battery for the unit. It charges like a new battery and seems to hold the charge normally.
