off the grid homes
too much of a better homes and garden book. no real info that you can get excited about. for more info i like "the solar house" by Daniel Chiras.

time life books vs. better home and garden books
2 of 2 found this helpful when buying DIY books always buy better home and garden books over the time life brand books. better home and garden books will always have more detail to the project. time life brand books will always be the minimum basic information. personally i usually know some of the basics but need a little more indepth information. the better home and garden brand books will give you both.
