Solved pickup and imaging problems
Renewing the rollers throughout with this fixed a jamming and media pickup problem. Combined with a new fuser assembly, the output looks like the day the printer was obtained.

Great on Win 7; not so great on Win 10
Installed on a Win 7 machine and was great, with no problems. When I made the mistake of upgrading to Win 10 the program froze and required a cold reboot to unfreeze. No amount of workaround cured it, so if you have Win 10, be careful.

Easy to set up, reliable output, and easy to use.
I wore out one of the predecessor models, ET-4750, and was very pleased with the apparent improvements in scan quality and print quality. Setup was very easy and not having to mess around with expensive ink cartridges makes the EcoTank decision a good one. The new ET-4850 doesn't seem to need the many head cleanings as the older model needed, and after 2 weeks of use the print quality hasn't deteriorated a bit. No head cleanings so far. The pickup of envelopes from the feeder tray is more reliable.
