Good replacement for original Apple Bluetooth Keyboard
The Ultra Compact Bluetooth Keyboard (A7721) from Anker is virtually the same size and weight as the original Apple Bluetooth keyboard and provides very similar functionality. It is well built and the typing experience is, once again, a very close match for the Apple Bluetooth keyboard. I found that it pairs easily with both my MacBook Pro and iPad Air 2 (both from 2014). I did not find any lag in Bluetooth communication with either device nor did I have any issues with dropped or unreliable connections. Although made with plastic components, the keyboard has a solid feel and seems like it will be durable over time. The rubber "feet" on the bottom of the keyboard are well placed and provide sufficient "grip" on most surfaces to prevent the keyboard from shifting position too easily as you type. Unlike the Apple keyboard, which uses two AA batteries, the A7721 has a built-in rechargeable battery. Depending on one's preferences this may or may not be a good feature. All-in-all a very suitable replacement for the Apple Bluetooth keyboard at a fraction of the price.
